How it works

We install a CCTV camera capable of reading car number plates on a property located on every entry and exit road to your village these cameras record all activity and keep all recorded data for 30 Days

A subscription scheme is created to cover the cost of the hardware and internet costs. All households in the scheme have access to the live streams and can search the archives 24/7. Other households in the village who chose not to join the scheme can also request footage for a fee to be determined by the scheme members.

In the above example for the village of Guilsborough five cameras would be required for each entry and exit point also five NVR video recorders for each household hosting a camera. The initial cost of this hardware and installation would be shared by the core scheme members and could be recouped via a subscription fee charged to other households.

Sample Costs for the Guilsborough model above based on 5 founder members fronting the hardware costs between them and recouping their costs from the 25 members over the first year. Additional revenue can be generated by providing video clips to non-members on demand. Alternatively the total cost can be split between all of the members and a nominal fee charged to cover the founder members internet costs which will be negligible. This would the total cost would be £152 for each member.
